Why do people LOVE football so much?

Why do people LOVE football so much?

The Premier League kick off the new season this Friday with 6 times European Champions Liverpool v Newly promoted Norwich City. We have tried to narrow down why we LOVE football so much. Here are the primary reasons why we LOVE this game so much.

4 main reasons why most people LOVE football is…

1. It brings people together

People support different teams. During a tournament/season, we gather together to watch the match. We cheer our teams to victory. The stadiums become packed, and fans of all ages come to watch the game from all over the country/world. We put on our favourite team’s shirt and use various props to support the players. Those who watch on TV also enjoy the matches with their friends, families and colleagues. Football is something that brings people together.

2. It’s full of excitement

In a football game, we hardly find a boring moment. Particularly during the closing minutes, you cannot change the channel or even get up for a glass of water/beer. It pushes your adrenaline, and you feel the highest level of excitement. The excitement is full on, even during low scoring games.

3. Food and drink

Well, you can’t watch a game without food and drink (beer). Cheering takes away a lot of energy, and you need to fill that up by eating food. Chicken wings, burgers, chips, crisps and a Balti pie are the best part of the game. A game is a good excuse to eat lots of junk and trust us; you will not feel bad about it.

4. The feeling of victory

You get a great feeling when your team wins. If you are watching the match with a friend who is supporting the opposing team, then the fun gets more. The rivalry is a big part of football.

If you are a football fan, we don’t need to tell you further about how amazing the game is. Nothing can beat the feeling of your team winning.

Here at Five Talents the first game of the season has more relevance as Ade and Steve are Liverpool fans (YNWA) and Giles is a Norwich fan…..good luck with that then!!

Whatever the result…we LOVE football #P45 #summerof❤️
